GOLDFINCH is our lighter roast that is perfect for coffees that have a little more complexity.
This single farm lot comes from producer Gash Duba who looks after several plots on Megadu farm in the Guji region of Ethiopia. This is an outstanding coffee that has notes of creamy vanilla, peaches, bergamot and dark chocolate.
At the moment, we roast on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays. Orders placed after midday on Thursdays will join the following Tuesday's roast cycle.

Megadu is a 220-hectare forested farm in Ethiopia’s Guji region, co-run by community leaders Gash Duba and Ato Saffay. Our naturally processed lot comes from Gash Duba’s plots, part of a collaboration that began as a small pilot to ensure mutual benefit for everyone involved. Following the classic Guji approach, the cherries are slow-dried on raised beds to enhance clarity and sweetness. The project has since flourished, exceeding expectations in both cup quality and community impact, thanks to meticulous cultivation and the exceptional growing conditions of the Guji highlands.
